Our guest instructors come from Colarado - Christi Campbell and Chris Sexton.

Christi Campbell:
Christi started playing frisbee competitively with her dogs in Dallas, TX in 1992. In 1997, and in 1998 won her first of 6 consecutive Colorado State Championships with Red Rocket Rider. She also placed 3rd in the state with Wally in 1998, and 2nd in 1999. In 2002, Christi and Rider won the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge Winter Games, and they went on to win the PIDC National Championship at Purina Farms later that year. In 2003, Christi started traveling internationally to compete, perform and teach disc dog seminars, and she and Rider won the UFO European Freestyle Championship that year. In 2005, Christi and Rider won their fourth Quadruped Championship, becoming the first team ever to win the coveted Quad-Quad. She and Rider finished in the top 3 in the UFO World Cup Championship four times. In the fall of 2014, Christi, and her dog Banner, traveled to Switzerland to compete as the only American dog in the UFO World Cup Championship, the very first world championship to be held off of American soil.

Christi enjoys teaching disc dog seminars, and is also an accomplished dog trainer. She keeps up with the latest in dog training science and developments by attending conferences and seminars by such world-renowned trainers as Emily Larlham, Turid Rugaas, Suzanne Clothier, Ken Ramirez and Ian Dunbar, among others. She uses positive training methods and enjoys helping people train and understand their disc dogs.

Chris Sexton:
Chris been throwing frisbees for about 25 years now. He got his start playing disc golf. In 1995, he got his first frisbee dog, and never looked back. He and his first dog Laika were the first team from Colorado to qualify for the World Championships, in 2000. That year, they also won the Quadruped Series National Championship, another first for Colorado. Laika was all over TV and newspapers for years. Laika competed in the World Championships 3 times in her career, and held the Colorado Quadruped distance record for 7 years.

In 2000, Chris co-founded an organization called the UFO. The UFO runs frisbee dog competitions, including the World Cup series. It is now going into its 15th year, and people compete in the World Cup around the world! In 2014, the UFO became the first organization to hold its World Championships outside the USA-a VERY successful event in St. Gallen, Switzerland.

In 2004, Chris found a new dog to play with-Banzai. In her prime, Banzai was one of the most dynamic, crazy, exciting frisbee dogs in the sport. Banzai has competed at the AWI World championships 9 times since 2005. This is a record for all dogs, since the beginning of the sport. She finished 3rd overall at the World Championships in 2007. She has made 3 appearances in the UFO World Cup Final, including 2012 when she won the World Cup D-Tour Chamionship with Christina Weiss of Germany. She won the Colorado State Freestyle championship 3 times.

Banzai and Chris have travelled the World doing shows, competing and teaching new people how to play. Banzai's list of countries includes Canada, Korea, Germany, Holland, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Liechtenstein!

Chris spends a lot of time judging, running events, planning, and announcing. In addition, Chris has given clinics and taught people how to play all over the world. Seminars in China, Austria, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and all over the USA.

In late 2011, Chris was inducted into the Ashley Whippet Hall of Fame by the founder of the sport, Alex Stein.
