The Indiana Fall Series is a series of five events held on Sundays in September, and October. The events are typically free, in the afternoon, and last around three hours. The events in the Fall Series will be different disc dog games for folks to try. At the end of October we add in a Halloween costume contest for the dogs. There will be no pre-registration for the events, just walk up and register. They are low-key events and a lot of fun!
If you do participate in the events, we request that you bring a crate for your dog so that it can remain safe when it is not competing. You may also bring chairs and water too. There are some trees to provide shade; however, you may bring a pop-up tent or umbrella if you want.
The Series Events are list below:
September 6 – Bullseye and Throw & Go – West Park, 2700 West 116th Street, Carmel, IN
September 13 – Toss & Fetch and Spot Landing – West Park, 2700 West 116th Street, Carmel, IN
October 11 – Extreme Distance and Distance/Accuracy – West Park, 2700 West 116th Street, Carmel, IN
October 18 – 4Way Play and Spaced Out – West Park, 2700 West 116th Street, Carmel, IN
October 25 – Pumpkin Time Trial, Team Time Trial, and Canine Costume Contest – West Park, 2700 West 116th Street, Carmel, IN
General rules for the games can be found at the following websites and we will go over the prior to starting each event. For some events the rules are being modified to meet the day’s activities and field limitations.

On October 25th, make sure your canine is wearing its best Halloween costume because we will have participants and spectators vote on the best canine costumes. Dogs do not need to participant in the games wearing the costumes. Once the voting is completed, the costumes may come off.
Points will be awarded per event and there will be event winners. Points will be accumulated over the series of events and there will be overall series winners announced at the annual banquet. There will be four divisions for the series – masters (based on the age of the handler), open, novice, and junior. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the IDDC at info@indydoganddisc.com.
In the event of severe weather, we will send out notifications on Facebook and our website as soon as the event is cancelled. The games will get pushed into the next Fall Series dates, if possible.
